Every shipment moves through a series of statuses from the moment the label is created to the moment the package is delivered. This article explains what each status means and what to expect next.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Ready | The label has been purchased and is ready to be dropped off or scanned at a Stallion location. |
| Pending | Third-party labels or untracked shipments enter Pending when created. They must be added to a batch and the batch must be closed before they move to Ready. |
| Received | The package has been scanned at a Stallion facility or at a Drop & Go location. |
| Processing | Received and scheduled to be shipped within 1 business day. |
| In Transit | The shipment is on its way to the carrier or already with the carrier. |
| Tendered to Carrier | Marks the hand-off date to the carrier. Carriers typically scan on the same day, but weekend hand-offs may scan the next business day. |
| Complete | The shipment has been delivered. |
| Exception | An unusual event occurred — for example, a delay or an undelivered package due to an incorrect address. Track the parcel for the latest update; it may still be delivered. |
| Void Requested | A cancellation has been requested for the label. |
| Voided | The label has been cancelled and a refund has been issued. |
| Postage Expired | An unused or unscanned label that expired after 21 days. |
| Incomplete | An unpaid label with missing or incorrect details. |
| Error | Missing or incomplete information is preventing the label from being processed. |
Use the status filter at the top of the Shipments page to narrow the view to a specific status. Statuses can also be referenced in Shipping Rules & Automation to trigger automated actions.

| Shipment stuck in Pending | Make sure it's added to an open batch and the batch is closed. |
| Shipment in Exception | Click the tracking number on the shipment detail page to see the carrier's latest update. |
| Shipment in Error or Incomplete | Open the shipment, fix the highlighted fields, and re-purchase. |
| Shipment in Postage Expired | The label can no longer be used. Create a new shipment and a new label. |
