Scheduling Pickups

Schedule carrier pickups so a driver comes to you — learn when pickups make sense, how to book them, and how to track their progress.

What this article covers

Pickups let a driver collect packages at your address. Use them for high volume, heavy or pallet freight, or to avoid repeated drop-off trips.

Step 1: Review scheduled pickups

  1. Open Pickups in the sidebar.
  2. Scan the table for date, carrier, cost, and confirmation details.

Review & Purchase

The system calculates the UPS pickup rate based on your location, package count, dimensions, and weight. A rate breakdown appears in the sidebar showing the total cost before you commit.

Review the details carefully:

  • Pickup address and contact information
  • Package count, weight, and dimensions
  • Pickup date and time window
  • Total pickup cost

If everything looks correct, click Purchase in the sidebar to confirm and pay.

Confirmation

After purchase, a confirmation screen appears with:

  • Your UPS confirmation number — save this for your records
  • A summary of the pickup details (address, date, time window, package count)
  • Options to download or print the pickup receipt

The pickup also appears in your Pickups table on the main Pickups page.

Good to know: If the pickup date selector shows certain dates greyed out, it means UPS is unavailable for your location on those days. Try selecting a different date, or contact Stallion support for alternatives.

Stallion Direct Pickup

Selecting this option opens an email to [email protected] with the subject Stallion Direct Pickup. Describe your location, preferred date, piece count, and any special needs. The Stallion team coordinates the pickup with you directly.

This path is better for custom pickup windows or multi-site coordination.

Good to know: UPS pickups are self-serve end to end. Stallion Direct is better for custom windows or multi-site coordination. To change or cancel UPS pickups, use the carrier tools or contact Stallion support.
