Credits, Refunds & Non-Refundable Balance
How Stallion Express credits work — why they're non-refundable, how label voids trigger refunds, payment minimums, and when a refund is no longer available.
Step 1: Review credits on Billing
Open Billing in the sidebar to see your balance and top-up options. Minimum top-up amounts depend on payment method and can change; the app always shows the current minimums.
Typical minimums (confirm on Billing):

Good to know: If you are starting out, a $50–$100 top-up is often enough for your first batch of labels.
What credits are
- Credits are non-refundable — they are not returned to your card or PayPal as cash.
- Credits are non-expiring — they stay in your account until you spend them.
What gets charged
When you confirm a shipment, your balance is reduced by:
- Postage — the carrier service you selected
- Handling fees — any applicable processing fees
Browsing and comparing rates is free. Nothing is charged until you confirm the purchase.
Void a label to recover credits
If a label was created by mistake or is no longer needed, void it to return the cost to your wallet. Refunds from voids usually appear within 14 days of the void request.
- Go to Shipments.
- Find the shipment.
- Choose Void Label and confirm.
You can void only if the carrier has not scanned or picked up the package yet.
21-day label expiry
Labels are valid for 21 days from purchase. If a label is neither used nor voided in that window, it expires and no refund is issued.
Void unused labels before they expire. Check Shipments regularly for labels you no longer need.
