Connecting Your Store

How to connect your ecommerce store to Stallion Express — supporting Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Etsy, WooCommerce, Walmart, BigCommerce, Magento, ShipStation, and Bandcamp.

Connecting a store lets orders flow into Stallion so you can import and ship without entering order data manually.

Step 1: Start the connection from the sidebar or Settings

You can start the connection from two places:

  1. Setup → Connect Store in the sidebar — takes you directly to the store connection flow
  2. Settings → Integrations → Stores → Add Store — opens the same connection flow from the Settings page

Before you start, make sure you have:

  • Admin access on the store platform
  • Any API credentials required by that platform (for API-based connections)
  • The correct store account open in your browser before you authorize

Step 2: Authorize the store and confirm it appears in your list

Authorization flows

Depending on the platform, one of two authorization flows is used:

OAuth redirect (Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Etsy, BigCommerce, Walmart): Stallion redirects you to the platform to approve the connection. Make sure you are logged into the correct store account before clicking Connect — if you manage multiple stores, your browser may be signed into the wrong one.

API credentials (WooCommerce, Magento, ShipStation, Bandcamp): You generate API keys in the platform's admin panel and paste them into Stallion. The connection is verified immediately after you submit the credentials.

After the connection succeeds, the store appears in your connected-store list and you can open its settings.

After connecting

Once the store is connected, review its settings to control how orders flow in and how fulfillment is synced back:

  • Auto-Import — whether orders import automatically and how often
  • Fulfillment Sync — whether tracking numbers are sent back to the store after label purchase
  • Shipping Defaults — presets applied to imported orders (carrier, package type, etc.). You can also automate these with shipping rules

Troubleshooting

The store will not connect

Check that:

  • The credentials or store URL are correct
  • The store is active and not in vacation mode or suspended
  • You authorized the correct store account
  • The platform app or integration has not been removed on the store side

If you manage multiple stores on the same platform, make sure you authorized the correct one — the store name shown in your connected-store list should match the one you intended to connect.

If the issue persists, see My Store Won't Connect for per-platform troubleshooting.
